Bamboo Airways announced the establishment of Bamboo Airways Cargo Joint Stock Company (BAC).
Bamboo Airways announced the decision to establish and launch Bamboo Airways Cargo on January 4. Vice President of Bamboo Airways Doan Huu Doan was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of BAC. Mr. Doan is also the legal representative of this enterprise. Deputy General Director of Bamboo Airways Nguyen Khac Hai holds the position of General Director of the cargo transport company.
BAC is headquartered on the 23rd floor of Bamboo Airways Tower, 265 Cau Giay, Hanoi and has a charter capital of VND20 billion. Of which, Bamboo Airways contributed VND15 billion, equivalent to 75% and 3 other individual shareholders.
“This is the latest activity in the overall strategy of building an aviation ecosystem, developing member companies, contributing to the airline’s strong development in the coming time,” said a representative of Bamboo Airways.
Before Bamboo Airways, in September last year, Vietravel Airlines announced that it would enter the air cargo market after joining hands with Asean Cargo Gateway (ACG). The airline’s leaders assessed that this was the right time to develop the air cargo sector in Vietnam.
Bamboo Airways has also just appointed another deputy general director, Mr. Pham Dang Thanh. Graduated from Kiev Aviation University (former Soviet Union), Mr. Thanh has many years of experience working in the field of aviation engineering, having held high positions at enterprises such as VAECO Engineering Company, A76 Aircraft Enterprise (under the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam)…
According to Bamboo Airways, the appointment of another deputy general director is part of the work of perfecting the senior management personnel apparatus, meeting the goal of accelerating the restructuring process of the airline, creating a foundation to achieve goals in the new period.
